A Storage Idea you'll love to Simplify and Organize Laundry Room Cabinets

Let’s face it- laundry is quite possibly the worst of all chores. The chore becomes even more overwhelming when you open up a cabinet in your laundry room and everything comes toppling out as you try to find the detergent. If this sounds like your house, I have a great organizing product recommendation to quickly get your laundry room cabinet into shape! Having an organized laundry room helps you be more efficient because you can easily locate what you need- getting this chore over with more quickly!

The Home Edit 5 piece Laundry Organizing System:

If you need some help organizing a laundry room or mudroom, I highly recommend purchasing the Home Edit Clear Laundry Organizing System available at Walmart. It is a great value at $24.98 and comes with 5 different products to organize laundry room items. I’ll share how I used the products to organize a laundry room below. For $24.98, the system comes with two 10x10 Stacking bins, a 10” turntable, and two narrow bins (10”x5”x6”). The two 10x10 Stacking bins alone cost $40 at Container Store! So it really is a great value.

Organizing with the Home Edit Laundry Room System

Here is how I used the Home Edit Laundry Room system to organize a laundry room cabinet for a recent client:

  • Two 10x10 Stacking bins: These bins are great to put on the lowest shelf of your laundry room cabinet as the open front allows you to easily reach in and grab frequently used laundry products. For this client I put all the Pods in one of the stacking bins and all other less frequently used laundry products (Woolite, Draft, wrinkle releaser) into the other stacking bin. In general I recommend keeping laundry products you use often on the lower shelf of a cabinet.

  • Two Narrow bins: These bins are great to separate out additional categories of items in your laundry room cabinet. I used one of the bins to hold dryer sheets and wipes and the other to hold bags used for washing delicate laundry items. Depending on what you frequently use for laundry perhaps one of the bins could be used just for stain removers or even lint rollers.

  • 10” turntable: Since this product spins it can be used on an upper shelf and is great for ensuring nothing gets lost in the back of a cabinet. I used this product to contain cleaning supplies that the client wanted to store in the laundry room. However it could be used to contain speciality laundry items or less frequently used laundry items.

With the Home Edit 5 piece Laundry Organizing System, the possibilities are endless to quickly makeover & organize your laundry room cabinets! It is a great value at just $25 for 5 products! Have you used any of the Home Edit products available at Walmart? Let me know in the comments below!
