Get your Kitchen in Order with my 9 Favorite Kitchen Organizing Products

As a Professional Home Organizer in St. Louis, one of my favorite rooms to organize is the kitchen.  The kitchen is the hub of the home, and having it organized can make hectic mornings and busy family mealtimes a lot less stressful.  I think that is why I find organizing kitchens to be so satisfying; it can make such an impact on a client.  In the last three years of owning my business, I have used some of the same products to organize kitchens across clients.  I tend to use these products if a client prefers a simple & functional design aesthetic (plus being able to see bin contents) and if they want to keep product costs down.

Here are some of my favorite kitchen organizing products and why I love them!

  1. Everything Organizer—These stacking bins fit perfectly inside cabinets or pantry shelves and feature removable dividers plus an easy-to-pull-out handle. They come in a variety of widths, so you can keep a clean, consistent look in your pantry while accommodating both bulkier items (chip bags) or sorting small snacks like bars/nuts so nothing gets lost on the shelf.

  2. Handy Baskets—This product is a must-have for organizing items on upper shelves in cabinets. Its long handle makes reaching up and pulling this basket down a breeze, while the transparent design allows for easy identification of its contents, saving you time and effort in your kitchen organization.

  3. Turntable- This product is a versatile solution for organizing various items in your kitchen. Available in 10-12 inch sizes, the turntable is an easy way to keep things like oils/vinegar inside your cabinets or even water bottles or contents under the sink.  Its rotating feature allows for easy access to items, preventing anything from getting pushed to the back of a cabinet. They are especially useful for those tricky corner cabinets, making your kitchen organization a breeze.

  4. Two-Tier Turntable—Double the fun of a turntable, a two-tier turntable is an excellent solution for organizing spices or medicine inside a cabinet.  Unlike a small tiered shelf, it allows you to see the front labels of the bottles fully.

  5. Clear Plastic Bin with Handles—If you are looking for an inexpensive way to organize and create a consistent look in your pantry, I recommend purchasing these budget-friendly bins. They are made of sturdy plastic and come in a variety of sizes. You can see all of the contents in a bin.

  6. Large Expand a Shelf—The shelf's roomy tiers effortlessly accommodate large cans, jars, and boxes, ensuring everything is visible and within reach. It expands from 13 inches to 25 inches, so it can really maximize space in a pantry! The tiered shelf is a game changer in a pantry.

  7. Tall Maple Rack—This simple slotted rack helps keep cutting boards and baking sheets upright and easy to grab.

  8. Stacking Floor Basket- I always recommend using all the space in your pantry, including the floor and door.  These stacking floor baskets (available in two sizes) can give you extra storage space on the floor, and they are great for canned drinks, bulk chip bags, paper towels, or overflow from Club Stores.

  9. Drawer Divider—This drawer divider system from SpaceAid will get your kitchen gadget drawer in order. The system has four dividers and nine inserts, allowing you to customize each storage segment's size easily. It is also great for the infamous "junk drawer," enabling you to create many smaller spots.
